Meet Our Public Relations & Marketing Director

Updated: Jul 2

A Letter From Our PR & Marketing Director -

Hello Neighbors, Donors, & Soon-to-be Guests,

My name is Catherine Booth and I’m honored to have joined WildFlowers Music Park as the Public Relations & Marketing Director.

I understand that bringing a music park—and our inaugural WildFlowers Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance—to Melrose has raised questions and excitement in equal measure.

What I Bring to the Table

  • Listening First: My first priority is to hear your thoughts, hopes, and concerns. I’ll be hosting a series of informal “Coffee & Conversation” meet‑ups around town—details to come soon— I hope you’ll stop by.

  • Transparent Communication: You’ll receive regular updates on plans and event logistics. I’ll clearly distinguish facts (what’s already approved and scheduled) from rumors or ideas still under consideration.

  • Community Partnership: WildFlowers is committed to being a good neighbor. We’re working with local businesses, nonprofits, and civic leaders to ensure that our park brings economic opportunity, cultural enrichment, and environmental stewardship to Melrose and all surrounding areas.

What’s Next

  • Coffee & Conversation Meetups: First round completed, another round to come in August

  • Open House: We’ll soon host a site tour where you can walk the grounds, view our preliminary plans, and ask questions face‑to‑face.

  • Recruitment: Founding Artists, Park Community Ambassadors, Vendors, etc

Whether it’s via email, our website, or in person, I want to make it easy for you to share input.

I believe WildFlowers Music Park can be a source of pride for Melrose - a place where our region’s natural beauty and creative spirit shine. But that only happens if we build it together.

A Bit About My Background:

I was born and raised just 29 miles from Melrose, Florida, so this opportunity feels like coming home in the most meaningful way.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Florida in 2008 and have spent the past 17 years doing what I love most—bringing people together. My career has centered around restaurants, hotels, and live music events, including helping to grow Texas Roadhouse across the Southeast. I've also had the privilege of serving on several nonprofit boards.

At my core, I believe in the power of community, and I’ve always chosen authentic connections and mutually beneficial partnerships over traditional advertising.

It’s my honor to now use those same values to help grow something special right here in the heart of North Florida.

Thank you for welcoming me into this community.

I look forward to meeting you, earning your trust, and growing WildFlowers Music Park into a place we can all be proud of.

Warmly,

Catherine Booth
