Our vision for the Healing Arts Village at the Inaugural WildFlowers Festival of Music & Dance

A Gift-Based Exchange of Healing, Education, and Connection
At the heart of our festival is a simple belief: healing is a shared experience, not a transaction.
The Healing Arts Village is a curated gathering of practitioners who are called to share their gifts openly, creating a space where festival-goers can experience a wide range of healing modalities without financial barriers, and where healing artists are welcomed, supported, and valued.
Rather than charging vending fees or asking practitioners to sell sessions, we are inviting selected healing artists to participate through a gift-based exchange.
We gift:
Festival admission for each day services are available for 90 or more minutes
A dedicated space within the Healing Arts Village
A community of artists, musicians, and attendees open to healing and learning
Healing artists gift:
Their time, presence, and healing modalities
Introductory sessions, demonstrations, or short treatments
Educational workshops that invite curiosity and trust
This reciprocal model allows healing to flow freely, without pressure, expectation, or cost.
What Festival-Goers Can Experience
Many people are curious about healing arts but hesitate to invest $60, $80, or $100 in something unfamiliar or that feels “too good to be true.” The Healing Arts Village removes that barrier by offering short, accessible introductions that let guests feel the work for themselves.
Examples may include:
15-minute sound healing sessions
Reiki or energy work introductions
Massage or bodywork mini-sessions
A 30-minute introductory workshop to shamanism
Breathwork, meditation, or somatic practices
By experiencing these modalities in a welcoming, no-cost environment, guests can discover what resonates with them, often for the very first time.
Supporting the Artists on Stage
Healing artists participating in the Village should also be aware that they may occasionally be called upon to support performers.
Examples include:
A musician experiencing hand or wrist cramping
Neck, shoulder, or back tension before or after a set
Nervous system grounding or energetic support
This is not guaranteed or scheduled work, but rather part of the shared care ethos of the festival, artists supporting artists.
Artist Autonomy & Flow
Healing artists are invited to set their own hours each day of the festival. Rather than assigning rigid schedules, we simply ask that the times you are open and offering services or workshops are clearly posted at your booth.
This flexible approach honors the reality that healing work requires presence and rest, and it allows practitioners to fully enjoy the festival as participants too. Healing artists are encouraged to attend performances, workshops, and community gatherings that inspire them, while still offering meaningful opportunities for guests to receive healing.
This model supports sustainability, joy, and authentic exchange for everyone involved.
Selection & Community Care
Healing artists are invited to apply through our Healing Artist Survey.
From these submissions, we will select a diverse range of modalities, approaches, and lineages.
While all are welcome to apply, proximity to the venue will be considered as part of our selection process, with the intention of:
Reducing travel strain
Supporting local and regional practitioners
Building long-term relationships beyond the festival
Following the festival, guests will have the opportunity to book longer, paid sessions directly with practitioners, creating a bridge between introduction and ongoing healing work.
An Invitation
The Healing Arts Village is not about transactions, it’s about trust, education, and shared energy. It’s about planting seeds, opening hearts, and letting people feel what healing can be.
If you feel called to share your gift in this way, we invite you to apply.
